About the Item
Choice reimagines Andrea Commodi’s The Fall of the Rebel Angels through a contemporary, uplifting lens. Instead of depicting punishment or descent, the piece envisions a universe where devotion transforms destiny—where angels rise in harmony rather than fall in rebellion.
At the heart of the work is an inner oval frame composed of approximately 200 mirrored angelic silhouettes, each laser-cut, hand-mounted, and individually positioned to create a rhythmic constellation of light. The figures shimmer together like a delicate crochet of radiance, catching ambient light and movement in the room. From afar, the mirror glows with sculptural softness; up close, each gesture reveals itself like a miniature celestial sculpture.
The designer reinterprets the original narrative with a modern twist:
What if the angels had chosen reverence instead of revolt?
In Choice, they are portrayed not as beings in freefall but as figures soaring, twirling, and celebrating the freedom that comes from awe and devotion. Their silhouettes seem to glide across the mirror’s surface, leaving intangible trails of stardust—suggesting a quiet, spiritual resonance within the space.
The interplay of reflective mirror, ethereal plexiglass, and precise handcraft turns the mirror into an environment of light rather than an object. Movement in the room activates the choreography; shadows shift, highlights flare, and the angels appear to dance in real time.
Choice is both a sculptural mirror and a meditative artwork—
a celebration of light, craftsmanship, and the transformative power of choosing devotion over descent.
All works are made to order, handcrafted with meticulous detail.

All pieces by VIATOV are fully handcrafted, using plexiglass that is individually cut, colored, and assembled by hand. As each item is custom-made, we do not keep stock. Production begins once an order is placed, so cancellations or returns are not accepted after production starts.
You may cancel your order within 48 hours of placing it if you change your mind.
If an item arrives damaged, we are happy to arrange an exchange.
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, made-to-order items fall under the exception for customized goods, so the standard 14-day withdrawal right does not apply. Only defective or damaged goods are eligible for return or refund.
