Empire herringbone gilt wood mirror. Walnut herringbone veneer frame with interior wide Mecca gilt band with further palm foliate border framing original slightly distressed mirror plate. Some wear to wide gilt band otherwise a handsome neoclassical mirror for either modern or traditional interiors. Italy, early 19th century. Dimensions: 33.5” H x 28.75” W x 1.5 Thick.
