About the Item
A faux-bamboo mirror from France, turn of the century circa 1890, with a lovely amber-brown patina in the frame. This tall mirror features rectangular proportions and symmetry to hang in either direction, made of carved pine to appear as (faux) bamboo down to the intermittent nodes projecting with slanted corners. Note that the top right corner has a small split in the wood. The mirror draws us with its exotic appearance and lovely color, making it a great choice to decorate any room and across a multitude of interior design tastes. The mirror plate shows a concentration of foxing toward the upper right as shown, adding to the organic qualities of the piece. Make sure to view the detailed images for a closer look.
