About the Item
A faux-bamboo mirror from France, turn of the century circa 1890, with a lovely amber-brown patina in the frame. Currently strung to mount in an east-west direction, this mirror features rectangular proportions and symmetry to hang in either direction, made of carved pine to appear as (faux) bamboo down to the intermittent nodes projecting with slanted corners. The mirror draws us with its exotic appearance and lovely color, making it a great choice to decorate any room and across a multitude of interior design tastes. An original mirror plate shows a concentration of foxing along the bottom edge, adding to the organic qualities of the piece. Make sure to view the detailed images for a closer look.
