About the Item
French contemporary ceramic mirror by Renzo Maar. Dimensions : 33 x 27 (W x D in centimeters) . Material : ceramic (white stoneware), glass ; signed. Reminiscent of modern art like sculptures by Jean Arp, and 1960s design and ovoid shapes of space-age and atomic-age design, this mirror has the unique feature of being a four-in-one mirror, because it can be hung in four different positions. This unique piece is available immediately but custom orders are possible (please note that each piece is hand-made in France and unique, dimensions and finishes may vary).
Renzo Maar is a young French-Italian artist and designer working with materials such as stoneware, plaster and metal. Passionate by the works of historical artists and designers like Alberto and Diego Giacometti, Jean Michel Frank, Serge Roche, Charlotte Perriand, Jean Prouvé, Line Vautrin and Jean Royère, he combines minimalist shapes and pure colors to design mirrors, lamps and furniture.
