About the Item

Fabulous pair of French reproduction–circa 2000–round gilt mirrors in the style of Louis Philippe. At roughly 39” (one meter) diameter, they will make an impact in any room, as a pair or hung separately. The thick wood molding is carved to eyecatching rings of varying depths, the center of which surrounding the mirror plate is lightly etched with floral foliate illustrations enhanced by traces of red bole. Patinated gold gilt adds another layer of texture that feels true to the original, despite the more recent make. Please view the detailed images. Sold as a pair only, not available for reorder.
