About the Item
Mid-Century and French Riviera style mosaic mirror, France, 60s. Frame formed by pieces of glazed artistic ceramic as a perimeter crown. Garnet/red tone. Very good work of the ceramics, providing various shades of red and depth in the color. Very much in the style of the French ceramic creations of Chaty Vallauris.
Mid-Century, Holly wood Regency and Space Age decorative piece, very typical of the most sophisticated interiors of the south of France in the 50s and 60s, and very much in the style of sun, sunburst or starburst mirrors. Very vintage looking and totally timeless for any current, classic or modern interior.
Brutalist air.
Total diameter: 55cm.
Mirror diameter: 38cm.
NOTE: little scratch on the mirror, and marks of use on some ceramic pieces (see last photos).
