About the Item

In the manner of William Kent with arched pediment with central cartouche above a mirror plate set in a wonderfully carved frame featuring egg and dart and gadrooning , trailing leaves and shells. With later gilding expertly done with red Bol blending with the subtle gold leaf. A handsome mirror.
