A stunning Italian 19th century Baroque st. giltwood mirror. The original mirror plate is set within an elegant mottled border which extends throughout the frame. At each corner are striking richly carved pierced foliate reserves with additional lovely designs at the center with a fluted family crest like design amidst additional scrolls. The impressive pierced central top crown also displays a most decorative scrolled foliate movement with charming flowers. All original gilt throughout.
