About the Item
The ‘Gronda’ wall mirror and coat rack was designed in 1972 by Luciano Bertoncini and produced by Elco under the creative direction of Joe Colombo. Minimal in line, the rectangular form conceals a hinged upper panel that tilts forward with a gentle press—revealing its hidden purpose as a coat hook.
Crafted in mirrored glass with a high-gloss black frame, its modernist profile is versatile. Impactful on its own or installed in sequence—ideal for entryways, corridors, or dressing rooms.
Condition: Great vintage condition with minor surface wear throughout, including subtle foxing along the edges of the mirrors and scratches and scuffs to the black frames. The tilt panel mechanisms function smoothly. Vertical holes on the reverse allow for wall mounting.
