A finely carved Italian round mirror dating from the 19th century, featuring an elegant giltwood frame richly decorated with scrolling foliage and classical ornament. The circular form is deeply molded, creating a strong architectural presence while maintaining refined balance. The original gilding displays a warm, softly aged patina, enhancing the depth of the carved details and lending the piece an authentic historic character.
The mirror retains its original glass, showing light age-appropriate wear consistent with its period.
