A sensational Italian early 19th century Giltwood and black Velvet mirror. This most unique mirror is set within an oval frame decorated by a richly carved floral band of blossoming flowers, oak leaves and pomegranates set on a black velvet background. A stunning and most detailed inner laurel band surrounds the oval mirror plate. Original gilding and mirror plate throughout. *Can be displayed both vertically and horizontally.
