Large scale Empire gold gilt and ebony black mirror is a large statement piece. The giltwood finish is complemented by a lovely ebony black washed gesso patina. The neoclassical embossed motif is a classic French form. A lovely rectangular shape, the surfaces all decorated with gilt-gesso decorations consisting of friezes of foliate scrolls, neoclassical rosettes, and egg and dart moldings, with new mirror glass. #7423
