Elegant late 20th century neoclassical mirror featuring a richly detailed architectural frame, beautifully combining carved wood, molded plaster and refined gilded finishes. The arched silhouette is inspired by classical portals, with a stepped cornice and intricate decorative moldings showcasing foliate motifs.
The frame presents an attractive contrast between the warm gold surface and the darker accents that highlight the depth of the carvings. On each side, the mirror is flanked by twisted, column-like supports an elegant reference to Regency and Empire Revival design. The original patina gives the piece a sophisticated, antique character.
