A Mid 18th Century Irish Giltwood Wall Mirror with original mercury mirror plate.
The mirror is adorned by an imposing Eagle crest, looking down over the mirror. The Eagle is flanked either side by hoho birds and a decorative foliate theme finished all the way around.
The mercury plate has been written on the back which is visible in reverse when looking directly into the mirror glass. A unique personalisation by the maker giving this mirror that extra bit of charm.
