Vintage Bamboo
Rattan Rectangular Mirror, French Riviera / Mediterranean Coastal Style
A very charming and beautifully weathered rectangular mirror featuring a double-frame bamboo structure adorned with numerous half-bamboo branches, each tied by hand with rattan. The construction gives the piece a distinctly handcrafted, primitive sensibility—very much in the spirit of the French Riviera and Mediterranean Coastal aesthetic championed by designers such as Tito Agnoli, Franco Albini, and Louis Sognot.
Structurally well preserved, the mirror glass shows a soft patina and age-related wear, all of which contribute to its authentic character and coastal charm. The piece has a wonderful tactile quality and a strong, sculptural presence.
Perfect as an entryway mirror, bathroom accent, or as part of a curated wall of mirrors. A superb addition for anyone looking to bring genuine Mid-Century French Riviera atmosphere into their interior.
