About the Item
Add timeless elegance to a powder room, entryway, or bedroom with this refined vintage wall mirror. Crafted in France circa 1950, the oval frame features intricate carved floral motifs and crosshatched geometric details accentuated by delicate bead and ribbon molding. The outer border is finished in hand-applied gold leaf, while the inner band displays warm inlaid wood tones adorned with stylized foliage panels.
Retaining its original mercury glass and wooden backing, the mirror is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, showcasing a beautifully aged patinated gilt finish. Versatile and refined, it may be hung vertically or horizontally to suit any space. Hooks and wire on the back allow for easy installation.
