Mid century French nickel plated round mirror
Nickel plated brass mirror, the frame of square box section, with cast floral device to the top. The original bevelled mirror plate with some foxing or aging marks. The nickel plating is aged and the brass shows through giving depth to the surface patina. Simplicity and elegance of form as used in designs by Maison Baguès and Jansen.
