A beautiful solid wood mirror framed with a fine 19th century carving. The elaborate design features He He, the Harmony Gods, set among flowing grapevines heavy with a rich harvest, symbolizing abundance and harmony. The carving is finely detailed throughout, with gilded highlights adding depth and brilliance to the scene. The frame itself is crafted from solid elmwood—heavy, substantial, and built with traditional tenon-and-mortise joinery for lasting strength. A pair of solid bronze hangers complete the piece, ensuring secure display. This mirror is a wonderful combination of old and new—a creative and artistic way of honoring an antique carving while transforming it into a functional and decorative object of timeless beauty. Height is with mounting hangers. Without hangers mirror is 27" tall.
