Magnífico espejo artesanal peruano con marco en plata repujada y cincelada, realizado a mediados del siglo XX. La pieza presenta una rica ornamentación de inspiración barroca colonial, con abundantes motivos vegetales, roleos, querubines, escudos y figuras alegóricas finamente trabajadas a mano sobre planchas de plata.
Este tipo de piezas deriva de la tradición orfebre del Cuzco y Ayacucho, donde los artesanos mantuvieron las técnicas coloniales del repujado y el cincelado, adaptándolas al gusto decorativo del siglo XX. This type of piece derives from the silversmithing tradition of Cusco and Ayacucho, where artisans maintained the colonial techniques of embossing and chasing, adapting them to the decorative tastes of the 20th century.
