This pair of 19th Century Adams Style Giltwood Mirrors exude refined elegance. Each crowned with an exquisite neoclassical urn crest bursting with scrolling foliage, rosettes, and stylized floral sprays. The design reflects the highly decorative yet restrained elegance associated with the work of Robert Adam, characterized by symmetrical compositions, classical urn motifs and delicate ornamentation.
The rectangular frames are finished with the arm, luminous gilt, with beaded inner molding and softly rounded edges that highlight the clean geometry of the mirrors.
