A Pair of mirrors, from Designs in Thomas Chippendale's 'Director' Constructed in carved gilded softwood, of asymmetrical addorsed form, the mirror plates housed within complex Rococo carving, incorporating 'S' & 'C' scrolls, foliage, and surmounted by Ho Ho birds, the design informed by Chippendale's Plate numbers 168, 169, 177 and 178.
