About the Item

A charming pair of Italian 18th century Louis XVI period giltwood mirrors. Each mirror frame has a mottled oval frame with an elegant bottom reserve of a swaging ribbon with a central tied bow over a laurel wreath centered by a rosette. The top crown has a large tied bow with foliage and ribbon that continues to each side accented by a laurel branch. All original gilt and mirror plates.
