Dome Mirror by John Vieweg
Located in Geneve, CH
Dome mirror by John Vieweg Dimensions: D 107 x W 107 x H 30.5 cm. Materials: routed plywood. RELIEF refers to both a formal and psychological condition. Historically, reliefs have been made by carving away at natural materials. Thehighkey puts a contemporary spin on this technique by cutting into common industrial products such as plywood and foam. By softening the square edges of these items, their human qualities are revealed. The Glove Couch...

Very Long /Wide French Art Deco Silvered Wood, Nickeled Bronze + Brass Mirror
Located in New York City, NY
An original French Art Deco long, wide and rectangular, silver over wood wall mirror with slightly curved top, fluted sides and angular accents of nickel and brass. The highly decorative ziggurat, sky scraper, stylized representation on the bronze mounts flanking each side and center distinguish this highly imposing mirror. The mirror features an overall authentic geometric expression with a period mirror inset. The inset shows some very small age spots on the glass which add to the mirror's charm and character. Since we cannot photograph the mirror due to it's reflection, I would approximate a total of ~35 tiny desilvered spots ranging in size from 1/4" maximum on ~ 5 spots, to miniscule in size on the remaining dots. Slightly rubbed/ mottled finish on the nickeled over bronze mounts with a satin finish on the wood, as shown in pics. This mirror is meant to be hung horizontally, making it perfect for use above a console, mantel, fireplace, in a bedroom, over a cabinet, in a dining room, hallway...More mirrors, Floor Mirrors and Full-Length Mirrors, Girandoles, Mantel Mirrors and Fireplace Mirrors, Pier Mirrors and Console Mirrors...

Pair of Original, Rare French Art Deco Rosewood Cubist Arm/ Club Chairs
By René Joubert and Philippe Petit
Located in New York City, NY
An important and rare pair of original French Art Deco period cubist arm chairs of simple and very elegant design. The warm brown finished rosewood is exceptionally well-figured and trimmed with a thin nickeled bronze decorative banding all around the base and overall. Since these chairs are finished on all three sides, they can be placed freestanding in the middle of a room featuring a beautiful back. Antique hob nails as welting surround the caramel colored upholstered leather. Futuristic, clean and architectural lines grace this pair of side chairs and read like art but are made for everyday use and enjoyment. Attrib to : Decoration Interieure Modernes- Rene Joubert ( 1878-1931) et Philippe Petit ( 1900-1945 ) for DIM The chairs are of medium scale and have a firm but comfortable seat, arm as well as backrest. There are a few almost undiscernible antique repairs on the wood and some small, unnoticeable light scratches/ scuffs on the upholstery. There is a small space between the seat and the back rest. They are in very good condition. Armchairs, bergere chairs, chairs, club chairs, living room sets, office chairs and desk chairs...
