About the Item
Set of two 3D wooden sculptural puzzle mirrors made in 1980 by Brooklyn, NY Feminist Expressionist Artist and Pratt graduate, Bernette Rudolph (B. 1929, Bronx, NY).
Sensuality is a common theme in Rudolph's work, and these designs are no exception. The sinuous lines and curves of the wood are design attributes of many of Rudolph's pieces, be it in the printmaking, drawing or 3D sculptural medium.
Very unique, charming set in original condition with only a few scuffs/natural patina present.
Artist signed and dated in verso.
