We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely late 19th century French oversized shield wall mirror with hand carved acanthus leaf and floral scrolling detail
A very high end original 19th century mirror, a rare shape and with lots of ornate detailing all over, this is more like a piece of art than an actual mirror
The mirror plate is original and lightly distressed, it has some patina lines across the plate, the frame has some light losses to the very ornate detailing, there are some little screw head caps missing and so on, it is a large and decorative piece
