An exquisite piece from the 1920s, this French rose gold mirror was salvaged from a quaint, dimly lit brasserie in the South of France. Its large-scale design is gracefully outlined with gilded geometric details that accentuate its rectangular silhouette, while delicate floral motifs embellish each corner.
The mirror’s ethereal etched effect was achieved through a traditional back-painting technique. A piece that captures the romance and craftsmanship of its era, it is a true reflection of French artistry. France, 1920s.
Condition: Good vintage condition, with light signs of age. The mirror has some beautiful foxing and patina to the surface.
