Hand carved squared wall mirror, Gilt wood, beige patina. Spain, 1940s.
Wooden frame in square shape with scalloped details
This wall mirror has a primitive construction , beige patinated finish with rests of gold leaf and Spanish Colonial accents.
It will be a nice a addition to a countryside or cottage house adding a spanish taste to or any classical, contemporary or rustic decoration. Use it alone or as a part of wall mirror composition with other small carved mirrors and small sunburst mirrors.
We have restored this piece preserving its original paint. Terrific parcel-gilt and beige patina.
