About the Item

On the occasion of The Venice Glass Week, Giberto Arrivabene Valenti Gonzaga presents a captivating temporary exhibition at Aman Venice, curated by Cristina Beltrami. This new collection features a series of mirrors inspired by the aesthetics and energy of Futurism. Created in close collaboration with the master artisans of AVV Barbini, the works pay homage to the bold geometry and vibrant color palette typical of Futurist art, particularly the visionary paintings of Giacomo Balla. Each mirror is a one-of-a-kind piece, the result of an intricate artisanal process that combines hand-drawn designs, meticulous glass cutting, and the expert craftsmanship of finely worked frames. The result is a contemporary reinterpretation of Futurist ideals—movement, speed, and abstraction—transformed into functional artworks that reflect both the past and the future of Italian design.
