Stunning vintage Union National chinoiserie mirror painted black with a pagoda top featuring floral designs, gold painted trim signed Dimas, and an all-over intentional distressed finish. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. We have purposely enhanced the distressing that was happening from age and use to give a wonderful patinated finish. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Mid-20th Century.

A Marvelous Mirror with Chinoiserie Magnificence!! This is a gorgeous mirror painted black with an all-over intentional beautiful, distressed patina by Union National Fine Furniture. It has a pagoda top featuring lovely chinoiserie floral designs and gold painted trim which is signed Dimas. It came with a fabulous complete bedroom set, (which we are also selling here separately if the pieces are all still available,) But even by itself, this a gorgeous mirror with endless possibilities. Can’t you just see it in your bedroom, over a dresser or on a dressing wall? Maybe in an entry hall exuding its exemplary presence, full of ambience and unmatchable chinoiserie and Hollywood Regency style? …this mirror will look fabulous in any room you choose and it’s EXACTLY what you’ve been looking for!!
The Union National Furniture Co. of Jamestown, NY., was formed in 1939 from the National Furniture Co., which had been in business since the early 1890’s. Both companies were owned and operated by the Nord family. The Nords made quality high-end furniture. Union National catered to many famous people including William Holden, Jerry Lewis, Lucile Ball, Wayne Newton, and others. The furniture was expensive and brings top dollar to current day. All furniture by Union National was made of quality hardwoods and painted pieces were done by highly skilled artists, such as C. Gaeto. Union National Furniture closed their doors in 1994.

All pieces have a fresh coat of polly. Work done by our experienced staff. Wear consistent with age and use. Beautiful condition, is vintage not new will have signs of use wear. This piece did not originally have a distressed finish, but we used what was happening naturally from use aging helped create a beautiful patinated look. Please see photos.
