A remarkable Danish teak, mid-century queen floating platform bed with floating nightstands and a storage drawer, made in Denmark. Exceptional construction and style. Featuring a stunning headboard with hanging, floating, nightstands, both with a wide surface area for placement of articles, such as, snacks, drinks and reading materials, above a spacious slide out drawer and open lower cubby area for storage. The wood grain is naturally highlighted in a teak pattern throughout, with a rich teak tone headboard, lateral support side rails, and footboard. Space saving feature includes an ample storage drawer beneath the slats that rolls out on casters, making it easy to move for convenient access. Attractive Classic modernist quality and design piece for the modern home. An exceedingly well-crafted bed, this piece has been very well taken care of over the years, one that will certainly make a powerful impression on a clean and modern interior décor. This bed will come disassembled and will require 2 people to reassemble. Headboard is 32"tall. Overall width of the headboard including the nightstands is 109.5"wide. Depth from against a wall to the foot end of bed is 83”. From the floor to the top of the platform 16” tall. Nightstands 19" tall x 20.5" wide x 14"deep. Condition report: This bed is in good vintage condition, with very few signs of wear from use. Construction is strong and sturdy. The platform is in good structural condition. All pieces fit snugly together and are sturdy with original hardware included, a few missing pegs. Original slat supports on one side, replaced slats on other side. This bed will come disassembled and will require 2 people to reassemble. The beautiful teak finish shows well. Measurements: Total dimensions: 109.5 " wide including nightstands x 83”deep from against a wall to the foot end of bed x 32” tall back of headboard (footboard is 16" tall x 62 1/2" wide) Nightstands 19" tall x 20.5" wide x 14"deep.
