About the Item
An English Art Deco four-piece burr walnut and rosewood crossbanded bedroom suite attributed to H
L Epstein and dating to circa 1925. Typically stylish and of superb quality it comprises:
A four-door fitted wardrobe with a rare additional internal door providing triple dressing mirrors to the centre; two full length hanging sections with a shelf, shoes rails and hooks; and a fitted side section with glazed and solid drawers and shelves.
A gentleman’s fitted wardrobe with extending shirt hanging rail, shoe rails, pull out drawer with trouser hanging rods
cufflink tray, glazed drawers, shelves and sliding tray.
A dressing table with curved angles to the pedestals, locks to all drawers, a curved plinth base and large bevelled circular mirror
A bed headboard incorporating bedside cabinets, with original chrome light fittings and glass shelves.
In good condition and with original wooden handles, locks to the wardrobes stamped ‘I W
S’ and with working keys for all locks, the color has mellowed/faded and the veneer on the small wardrobe has some blisters to one side.

An outstanding George III Scottish flame mahogany stage-back sideboard with original knife boxes and dating to circa 1800, probably Edinburgh. Highlighted with plentiful boxwood stringing to the front and sides, the stage has a central inlaid tablet flanked by a pair of tambour doors and sits between the original knife boxes still with their original cutlery fittings.
