The Matching Rosewood Tall Boy Dresser Has 6 Pull Out Drawers That Matches The Hand Carved Chinoiserie Style Pulls On The Long Rosewood Dresser. The Long Rosewood Dresser Has The Paper Label "FAR EASTERN FURNITURE COMPANY" HONG KONG Which Is Associated With George Zee. George Zee, The George Zee Furniture Company Was Well Known For Creating Beautifully Hand Carved Chinoiserie Furniture. During The Midcentury Era, Many Of These Beautiful Hand Carved Pieces Were Sold In The US Military Exchanges In Asia From The 1950s To 1970s According To Company History As Well As Many Visitors To Hong Kong Would Purchase These Beautiful Pieces And Have Them Shipped To The USA. The George Zee Co Was A Furniture Maker In Shanghai And Then Moved To Hong Kong. The "FAR EASTERN FURNITURE COMPANY" Associated With George Zee Is "George Zee Co LTD."... It Was A Prominent Furniture Maker Based In Shanghai That Later Relocated To Hong Kong And The Furniture Maker Specialized In High Quality Chinese Style Furniture That Became Very Popular, Especially To Their American Clients.
