Rare and impressive monumental Antique 19th century Italian Baroque Rococo Bombe bedroom suite, circa 1870s. Features a large full length armoire, dresser with mirror, 2 nightstands, a vanity and 2 small single beds. The beds can be modified and joined to form a King or Queen size bed.
Made of highly sought-after matchbook burled Circassian walnut with gray marble tops. Features serpentine form with flowing floral marquetry inlay ornate bronze ormolu and cabriole legs. A stately addition to any space.
Circassian Walnut is Juglans regia from the old Russian Muslim Republics. It is world renown as the bench mark for gunstocks and furniture with its beautiful colors and graining. Circassian Walnut grows very slowly and often has more heartwood and a finer texture than other members of this species.
