Sumptuous bedroom set of very high quality. This bedroom is composed of a bed, a wardrobe, a mirror and two bedside tables. The whole is in marquetry composed of different woods and the whole is decorated with chiseled gilded bronzes. The bed is decorated with garlands and bouquets of flowers intertwined with Louis XVI knots. The two bedside tables are different and feature Breccia Aleppo marble. One has a drawer and a shelf and the other consists of a drawer and a small cupboard. The wardrobe opens with three doors. The central door with mirror and the two others in marquetry with mirror inside. The interior of this cabinet consists only of shelves but there is the possibility of transforming part or more parts into a wardrobe. The mirror in the shape of a trumeau is of a good size and very decorative. These two-drawer bombe' commodes are crafted from the most beautiful goncalo alves and walnut, have solid oak lined drawers and feature exquisite floral and foliate marquetry decoration. To add extra opulence to this wonderful pair, each has luxurious gilded ormolu mounts.
