About the Item
We are delighted to offer lovely circa 1940’s light Walnut double wardrobe made by The Walnut Cabinet Works which is part of a large suite
This piece is part of a suite as mentioned, I have in total the dressing table, two wardrobes, one of which is very large the other is large with internal storage, the headboard with built in side tables and lastly a chest of drawers. This sale is for the piece mentioned above only, the other lots can be found under my other items
This piece is well made, decorative and very nice in the light walnut. This was designed with hanging space in mind, it wide and deep enough to fit a small chest of drawers inside. The right door has a mirror and there is a cubby hold for folded linen to the top right. These pieces are usually designed to be able to quickly split down the middle for ease of transport and installation
Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, it may have normal age and use related patina marks here and there, mostly its in very fine order so far as I can see
