About the Item

Dutch Mid-Century, 1950s Mategot inspired single bed designed by Wim Gilles for Dutch company RAdemakers WInschoten (or RAWI as it was more popularly named). Gorgeously designed with a lovely use of contrasting color and visually delicate, almost open, structures this piece is a wonderful showcase for the somewhat under appreciated Gilles. In original condition with some age appropriate wear. Two available, one with a paint chip on the headboard (LU922441085802) and one without, listed here. Comes with newly made black mattress. Sold individually.
