About the Item
Italian carved walnut double bed dating back to the first half of 19th century, in good condition, with a great original patina. The elegant and unique bed frame is solid walnut and mahogany veneer and decorated with masks within laurel frames and palmette decorations inlaid in maple and pyrographed; the uprights and pinnacles are ornated with vertical inlays; footboard’s feet are turned and carved with a dark paticarved swans framed by a carved coping with two large scrolls. The bed is in good condition, great patina, a wax polish finish.. Disassembled into four parts.
