About the Item
Late 19th century American classical Jenny Lind style twin bed featuring a distressed painted finish. Named after the 19th century Swedish opera singer the bed frame has bobbin turned or spool supports with decorative finials on top. The mattress opening is 74 by 38.5 inches which should fit a 75 by 38 inch twin mattress. The wood frame has a headboard, footboard, two side rails and includes the hardware. The finish has a desirable aged patina with craquelure on the finish. Solid and strong with a classic profile from an estate in Napa Valley, CA. The side rails measure 20 inches high from the floor to the top.
