About the Item
An incredible hand-crafted bed made from thick and heavy finished Pine timber, signed and dated 1996 by the craftsman Jim Molter. The bed is reminiscent of the pioneering design work by Mimi London who breathed new life into the timber furniture world in the 1980’s. Very solid and having a soft hand and pleasing natural color. Signed and dated “12-96’” on the headboard.
Dimensions: 68.5” wide by 95.75” long by 57.75” high.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age and use include age related finish losses, scrapes and scratches to the frame and side rails, natural stable checking and natural color variations which do not detract from the powerful and elemental presentation.
