About the Item
An Art Deco revival / Hollywood regency cream lacquered king bed frame with golden detail by APA, 1980s. This stunning piece, complete with curved geometry, gilded base and detail, and light-up underframe, will indubitably add glamour and flair to any bedroom. Stylistically, this piece recalls Roger Rougier and Jean Claude Mahey’s postmodern art deco pieces, which defined 1980s aesthetics of decadence and fanfare, whilst maintaining an brutalist edge. The piece is dismantled for easier storage and transport, but is easily set up as shown in photos. All light bulbs are intact and functioning, and all original screws are included (see photos). Check the measurements below to determine your mattress, but the previous owner had a Cal King mattress on this bed frame.

- Condition:Repaired: Some filling in where lacquer has losses - see photos. A small replaced piece of lacquer also in photos (being held by red manicured hand). Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Good condition with minor losses and chips to the lacquer. Some west to metallic golden edging. No structural issues.
