Beautiful iron bed painted in brown-burgundy, with a very rich decoration of intertwined flowers and foliage, enhanced with gold. Good general condition, wear to the patina, small old restorations; 2 volutes are missing at the foot of the bed. Genoese work (Italy) - Period Early 19th century. Total dimensions of the bed: H 194 cm 162 x 208cm. Height of the headboard 194 cm. Height of the footboard 113 cm. Dimensions of the frame to place a bed base: 152 x 197 cm. Bed delivered completely disassembled; for easy reassembly, the different elements are numbered.

The footboard and headboard are adorned with precious curved and flowing curls. In good age-related condition, with old welds consistent with age, the wrought iron shows a beautiful naturally aged patina which highlights its authenticity and charm. Four decorative terminals embellish both the footboard and the headboard. The solid wrought iron bars ensure stability. The dimensions of the internal frame measure 122 cm wide by 196 cm deep.
