We are delighted to offer for sale this finest quality, pair of hand carved Burr Walnut Bedsteads which are part of a large suite This pair are part of a large bedroom set, I have in total a pair of wardrobes, a dressing table with trifold mirrors and a matching stool, a pair of bedside tables with mirror topped serving shelves and lastly a pair of bed frames, this sale is for the piece mentioned above only, the others are listed under my other items These are as mentioned, the finest quality I have ever seen for this type of furniture, they truly are a master class of craftsmanship, when describing them, I honestly don’t know where to begin, they are made using fine cuts of burr walnut, the legs and all of the external pieces of decoration are hand carved This suite is one of a kind, I don’t imagine I will ever see another where it has been commissioned with absolute no expense spared, this is museum quality at its finest Condition wise we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished them from top to bottom, there may be some age and use related patina marks here and there, mostly its they are in fine order throughout Dimensions Height:- 135cm headboard, 67cm footboard Width:- 97.5cm Depth:- 205cm Side Bar Height 29.5 cm Internal measurements for mattress, width 90.5cm and depth 189cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
