About the Item
Pair of empire bedside tables / nightstands hand-made in Italy in the early 1800s and decorated with walnut book-matched veneer. The tables are small in size and, therefore, perfect for a room where there is not a lot of space but storage is needed. The lines are straight and the proportions elegant and timeless. The inset drawers open easily and can be used on a daily basis. The tables are decorated by brass applied on the front legs next to the drawers. The legs are tapered and also covered with veneer, giving nice balance to the piece.
These two tables are going to be fantastic accent additions to a bedroom, and because they have very modern lines despite being pretty old, they will fit well with modern, contemporary as well as antique furniture.
