About the Item

A very lovely Louis Philippe nightstand or side table in fine West Indies/ Cuban mahogany with a concave front. Offers one drawer over a cabinet door that opens to interior shelving. Features a pedestal top with curvilinear inset panels on drawer door, carved foliate appliqués along the sides escargot feet. The expert book-matching, along with the various play of figured wood grains tones enhances all of the fine sculptural features of this exquisite cabinet. Northern Europe, likely Germany, circa 1850. Restored in our workshop with a French-polish finish. Comes with working locks one key. Great as an end table, nightstand or console in an entrance or narrow hallway! Measures: 29 1/2" wide x 17" deep x 34 1/2" high. Note: You should always request a shipping quote.
