Wonderful Early to Mid-20th Century Art Moderne solid maple 2 drawer nightstand in the style of Bissman and after Russel Wright for Conant Ball. This piece has been attributed based upon archived research including online sources, vintage documentation and catalogs, designer literature, and other materials however, it is not signed or marked in any way. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. No outstanding flaws detected just a beautiful original finish with all its wonderful age patina. You know that feeling when you come across something special and you instantly fall in LOVE… Immediate, undeniable attraction… can hardly take your eyes off of it… adrenaline fills your soul and you simply MUST have it… THIS is that something!!! This is a marvelous solid maple nightstand featuring two stacked drawers with phenomenal hand carved or hand sculpted bowl-shaped handles rather like oversized cup pulls and fantastic sled style legs. This is a classic beauty with an Art Moderne style that you are sure to love for years to come. It is designed in a style after Russel Wright for Conant Ball or Bissman. My mother (who is a retired interior designer and has been identifying vintage pieces since before I was born… and I am vintage myself!!) believes the actual style is a copy after Russel Wright (especially with the design of these spectacular handles!!) but the construction leads her to believe it’s Bissman. It is not marked, but no matter, it is INCREDIBLE!! The design world calls these transition pieces… of the era when pieces transitioned between the Art Deco period and the Mid-Century Modern period, during the early portion of the 20th century. Ahhhhh, the good ‘ol days!! LOVE IT!!! The maple bears a beautiful natural shade, and it features clean lines, a timeless presence, and simple design sure to blend in beautifully with any décor. We think it would be fabulous utilized in a children’s bedroom, but it would also be wonderful as a nightstand beside your bed in a college dorm, guest room, in an entry or hallway used as a pedestal table, as an end table in your family room, or any room in an industrial loft apartment! Don’t let this spectacular 2 drawer nightstand pass you by! You know you want it… You MUST have it… Make it YOURS!!!!

Awesome vintage Mid-Century Modern walnut & cane flip top storage twin headboards, a pair. Serious question… What are TWINS’ favorite fruit??? PEARS!!! Get it!! LOL… Ok, well, This is a fabulous “pair” of “twin” sized headboards comprised of walnut frames, rectangular natural cane insets, and they have a flip top feature which reveals a totally open interior storage space!!! I mean… That’s a MASSIVE amount of storage!!! Not to mention… a GREAT hiding place!! HaHa!! Just kidding… don’t do that!! The interior of the storage space has been painted black and they are lined with natural cedar… no moths allowed!! We believe this duo was custom made and they are ready to grace your home with their Mid-Century Modern MAGNIFICENCE!!! They would be wonderful together in a bedroom separated with a nightstand between or separate them and use one in one bedroom and one in another, or…set them beside each other, turn the twin mattress sideways OR place one on each end of a twin mattress and you have a unique daybed or chaise! OR, set them side by side and use them as a headboard for your king size bed using...
