About the Item
A French walnut drawer nightstands from the learly 20th century with ribbon-carved moldings and carved skirt. This petite French table features a rectangular top with beveled edges, sitting above a drawer simply adorned with a delicate twisted ribbon molding and carved front. Creating a visual unity on the façade, two side posts flank the drawer without interruption. The beautifully carved skirt creates a perfect conclusion to the ensemble with its low-relief urn sitting above a swag. The chest is raised on four elegant cabriole legs. With its nice patina, its clean lines and its delicate décor, this French oak commode, circa 1900 will be a lovely addition to any room, whether used as a nightstand table or placed in a hallway or living room.
