Pair of mid-century nightstands (also suitable as bedside tables), Italy, 1950s. Solid wood with a newly applied black pigmented shellac lacquer; central drawer with a brass pull and warm wood interior. Slim overhanging top and tapered legs give the piece an airy profile. Restored surface; structurally sound with minor age traces on the brass hardware.
