About the Item

Pair of 20th-century Swedish pine nightstands in a narrow, space-saving form. Each features a newer matte gray painted finish with very light distressing along the edges. The case is fitted with one petite drawer over narrow cabinet doors, each decorated with a traditional Swedish diamond motif. A small sliding tray sits above the drawer, intended as a convenient surface for setting a beverage or writing a quick note. Simple fluted carved details flank the doors, and the cabinets are raised on tapered legs. The tops have a simple trim surround. The backs show age-related cracking. Restored, strong, stable, and ready for use. A practical pair of small cabinets designed to fit well in tight spaces.
