French Art Deco Side Tables
An exceptional pair of French Art Deco side cabinets in Indian rosewood, dating to the 1930s. Very much in the manner and quality of Jules Leleu, With their demi-lune form, elegant tapering legs, and refined brass-capped feet, these cabinets are as sculptural as they are functional.
Each piece features beautifully constructed parquetry drawer fronts with a rich, lustrous finish. The drawers open via discreet brass pulls on a clever side-hinged mechanism, swinging outward from the centre — a refined and rarely seen design detail that speaks to the craftsmanship of the period.
Ideal as bedside tables or placed either side of a sofa or armchair, these versatile cabinets offer both presence and practicality. Their proportions and fine lines make them perfectly suited for use in both traditional and modern interiors.
